Description

Kamarne is a set of three square LED downlights in black, each 8.8cm long and 8.8cm wide, with an aluminium body that sits recessed into the ceiling so only the slim square bezel shows. The LED is integrated, so there is no bulb to buy or change. Each light draws 4.8W and gives a warm white light at 2700K. Inside every square frame a round inner ring tilts, so you can angle each beam at a wall, a picture or a shelf instead of the floor. The rating is IP20, which settles where they belong: indoors, in dry rooms.

They suit living rooms, hallways, landings, bedrooms and studies, anywhere you want clean light from a flat ceiling without a pendant hanging into the room. Because the heads tilt, they are good at picking out artwork or washing light across a sideboard, and three in a row along a bulkhead or a beam give a neat, ordered line. The black bezels stand out crisply against a white ceiling for a graphic, modern look. They are dimmable, so you can bring them low for a quiet evening and back up to full for reading or tidying.

Each light needs a hole 6.8cm across and 4.2cm of depth above the ceiling. They run on mains at 220-240V and have no switch of their own, so they come on and off from your wall switch. As wired-in mains lights, they are installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. The energy class is E and the packed weight is 0.57KG. Before ordering, check that your ceiling gives at least 4.2cm of clearance at each spot where a light will sit.

No. They are rated IP20, which means indoors in dry rooms only, so we would keep them clear of bathrooms, showers and anywhere outdoors.
