The Kallu is a single-layered, double-sided faux fur throw in a deep olive green, made from 100% polyester. What sets it apart is that both faces are faux fur, so there is no thin lining underside to turn away from you. Whichever way it falls, the same dense, soft pile is against you. A wide border runs around all four sides, giving the edges a little more structure and a clean line when the throw is folded or draped. It comes in two sizes, 130 x 180cm and 150 x 200cm, so you can pick one for a single chair or one that spans a larger sofa or the foot of a double bed.

This is a throw for the room where people actually sit still. Over the arm of a sofa, folded across the end of a bed, or bundled into a reading chair, the olive reads as a warm, grounded green that sits happily with wood tones, natural linen, and the terracotta and rust shades common in a cosy living room. Because both sides are the same, you never have to think about which way to lay it, and it looks considered whether draped loosely or rolled and left on a bench.
