Description

A pair of egg cups in cream ceramic, each 5.2cm tall and 5.2cm across: a rounded cup on a short flared pedestal foot, with a single row of dark green drops running round the outside just below the rim. Every drop is round at the head and tapers to a point below it, and the rest of the cup is left plain.

At 5.2cm the cup holds a hen egg with about half of it standing clear, and the foot is wider than the bowl so the cup stays put when a spoon goes in. Two is a breakfast for two, and at 5.2cm they take the corner of a drawer rather than a shelf. They are food safe and dishwasher safe.

The body is ceramic and the drops are brushed on by hand in Vietnam, so the row sits a little differently on each of the two. Two are supplied. Juniper Drop also runs as a cup and saucer, a teapot, mugs, jugs, plates, bowls, a butter dish and a twelve piece dinner set.
