Description

The Joressa is a glass 8 light pendant in the classic candle chandelier style. Eight curved glass arms sweep out from a central glass column to eight chrome candle sleeves, and strings of glass beads and faceted glass drops hang between them to catch the light. The glass is a warm cognac colour, set against a steel body in a chrome finish. It stands 130cm tall overall and measures 82cm in diameter. Each of the eight holders takes an E14 bulb of up to 40W, and the bulbs are not included. It is rated IP20, which settles where it goes: indoors and dry, so a dining room, living room or hallway rather than a bathroom or the garden.

At 82cm in diameter it wants a room with space around it. Hung centrally over a dining table, it gives the room a clear focal point and puts eight points of light where people gather to eat and talk. It is just as at home in a high-ceilinged hallway, a formal sitting room or a generous bedroom with a traditional look.
