Description

The Jeavika is a bistro chair made from iron and powder coated dark brown. The round seat is perforated in concentric rings and the back is shaped from bent tube, an outer frame with a narrower arch inside it, so the detail is in the metal itself rather than in anything applied over it. It is a slim chair: 50cm across, 41cm deep and 6.4kg all in.

The seat sits at 45cm and the back rises to 85cm, with the seat itself 38cm across. At 50 x 41cm on the ground it takes little room, which suits a small terrace, a courtyard or a balcony as readily as a larger garden. At 6.4kg it can be carried in one hand and stood against a wall when it is not in use.

The chair is iron throughout under a dark brown powder coat, and it is made for outdoor use. The Jeavika range also holds a bistro table in the same iron and the same finish. The chair is sold singly and no cushion is included.

Frequently Asked

How high is the seat?

45cm from the ground. The back rises to 85cm.

Can it stay outside?

Yes. Iron is hard-wearing and the chair can stay out through the summer months, though it is better stored under cover over the winter.

Will it change colour outdoors?

The patina deepens with weather and time. That is the iron doing what iron does rather than a fault in the finish.

Is it sold as a pair?

No. This is one chair.

What else is in the range?

A bistro table in the same iron and the same dark brown finish.
