AA is the size most of the house runs on, and this is JCB's Ultra Alkaline version of it: four 1.5V cells in one blister pack. The cell is catalogued as AA, LR6 and MN1500, so it fits any compartment marked with any of those three. Alkaline is the standard general purpose chemistry, holding a nominal 1.5V per cell and giving its charge away steadily rather than all at once. JCB prints an up to ten times more power line on the pack, but does not name the cell it is measured against, so treat it as a headline rather than a runtime figure.

Keep a pack in the drawer and most of the house is covered.
