Description

The JCB 8.5W LED GLS bulb uses an E27 Edison screw base and delivers 806 lumens of 3000K warm white light across a 180° beam angle. The GLS (general lighting service) shape is the classic bulb profile that fits most table lamps, pendant shades, wall brackets and ceiling fixtures designed for standard E27 fittings.

At 8.5W the bulb provides equivalent light output to a traditional 60W incandescent bulb while drawing 86% less power from the mains. The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light that suits living rooms, bedrooms and dining areas where ambient lighting creates a comfortable atmosphere. The bulb is non-dimmable and provides consistent light output when switched on.

The frosted glass envelope diffuses the LED filament inside and prevents hotspots or visible LED points when the bulb is used in open shades or exposed fittings. The bulb measures 60mm diameter by 110mm height, matching the footprint of standard GLS incandescent bulbs it replaces. The 180° beam angle distributes light evenly in all forward directions, avoiding the narrow spotlight effect of some directional LED bulbs.
