Description

The JCB 3W LED golf ball bulb is a compact 45mm-diameter replacement for traditional 25W incandescent bulbs, fitting any E14 (small Edison screw) socket. It delivers 250 lumens at 3000K warm white through a frosted opal finish, drawing just 3W from mains power. The golf ball shape suits chandeliers, wall sconces, bedside lamps and decorative fittings where a smaller bulb diameter is needed.

Designed for fixed-brightness installations, the bulb is non-dimmable and runs flicker-free on standard 220-240V UK mains circuits. The 180-degree beam angle provides wide light distribution from a small source, making it suitable for multi-arm ceiling lights, table lamps and hallway accent fittings where multiple bulbs combine to fill a space. The 3000K colour temperature produces a warm glow comparable to traditional tungsten filament bulbs.

The bulb measures 78mm tall including the E14 base and carries an energy rating of G under the latest EU labelling scale. JCB rates the LED lifespan at 10,000 hours under normal operating conditions, equivalent to approximately 10 years of use at 3 hours per day. The frosted finish hides the internal LED chip configuration and produces a diffused light output without visible point sources or striping.
