Description

The Isvana is a swan neck wall light in brass and glass. A slim brass arm leaves a round wall plate, curves up and over, then drops to hold a stepped cone of glass around a single bulb. It is 33cm tall and 18cm wide, and it projects 36cm from the wall, which brings the light well out over a basin, a bedside table or a sideboard. We sell it in Antique Silver, Antique Brass, Natural Brass, Matt Black, White, Polished Brass and Satin Brass, with a shade in Clear or Opal glass. Bulbs are sold separately: the Isvana takes one E27 bulb, up to 6.5W per bulb (LED).

Rated IP65, the Isvana suits a bathroom as readily as a bedroom, a dining room or a living room. A pair either side of a bathroom mirror puts light at face height, and the same pair beside a bed leaves the bedside table free for books. In a dining room or a living room, one or two over a sideboard or a run of shelves throw a pool of light down the wall. Choose the finish to sit with the taps, handles or other metalwork in the room. It is a mains fitting, wired in by a qualified electrician.

Each Isvana is made to order for you in Ireland, from brass with a glass shade, and the Matt Black and White finishes are painted in RAL 9005 and RAL 9010 respectively. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered. One practical note before you order: with a 36cm projection, check the spot clears doors, cabinet doors and anyone walking past, and that the 33cm height sits comfortably under the ceiling or any shelf above.
