Description

The Islura is a flush ceiling light in brass and glass, with a wide, shallow shade that sits close to the ceiling and a glass cover beneath it around a single bulb. It is 22cm tall and 32cm across. We offer it in Polished Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Natural Brass, Matt Black, White and Satin Brass, and each finish comes with a choice of Clear or Opal glass. Matt Black is RAL 9005 and White is RAL 9010, and both versions have a white inner shade. Bulbs are sold separately: it takes one E27 bulb, an LED of up to 6.5W.

Rated IP65, it suits a bathroom just as well as a hallway, so one design can run through both. Because it fits flush to the ceiling, it stays up out of the way in a smaller room, and the broad shade gives it a simple, practical look. In a hallway it works on its own or as one of several along a passage. The brass finishes bring a warm, traditional note, while Matt Black and White sit quietly in a plainer scheme.

Each light is made to order for you in Ireland, in brass and glass, and it is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered. Because every Islura is made to order, it is worth settling on the finish and the glass together before you order, so it is made exactly as you want it.
