Description

The Knightsbridge IP66 13A 2-gang DP switched socket is a weatherproof outdoor socket with two independently switched outlets, each rated at 13A. Red neon indicators behind each switch confirm power status and remain visible through the transparent hinged lid when closed. The double-pole switching isolates both live and neutral lines when each outlet is switched off.

Designed for outdoor installation on garden walls, sheds, garages, patios and caravan pitches, the socket withstands rain, dust and hose spray under IP66 certification. The hinged lid includes a hold-open catch for continuous access during use, and the polycarbonate casing is rated IK06 for impact resistance. Multiple 20mm cable entry points around the back and sides allow flexible positioning for surface or wall mounting.

The black polycarbonate body measures 170mm wide by 153mm high with an 84mm projection from the wall when surface-mounted. The transparent smoked front allows the neon indicators to be read without opening the lid, confirming whether each outlet is live. The socket is certified to BS 1363-2 for UK mains use at 230V 50Hz. This product is not suitable for EV charging.
