Description
The Knightsbridge IP44 3-light bathroom spotlight is a ceiling-mounted triple spot fitting in polished chrome pressed steel, with three individually adjustable lamp heads on a 246mm circular base plate. Each head houses a GU10 bulb fitting (bulbs sold separately) behind a clear glass lens, and the IP44 rating allows installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3 where moisture is present but direct water spray is not expected.
Designed for bathrooms, utility rooms, shower rooms and other moisture-prone areas, the fitting mounts semi-flush to the ceiling with a 122mm projection once the heads are angled. Each spot head rotates through 350° and tilts through 90°, allowing light to be directed onto mirrors, shower areas, or distributed across the room as ambient wash. The three heads can be set to different angles, making this a functional fitting for both task lighting and general illumination in compact or awkwardly-shaped bathrooms.
The polished chrome finish gives a high-reflective metallic surface that pairs cleanly with chrome taps, shower fittings and other bathroom hardware. The pressed steel construction keeps the weight manageable while maintaining rigidity when the heads are adjusted. Each head accepts any standard GU10 halogen or LED bulb up to 20W maximum, and dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb chosen rather than the fitting itself.

Frequently Asked
Where can this be installed in a bathroom?
The IP44 rating means the fitting is protected against splashing water from any direction, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3. Zone 2 covers areas within 0.6m of a bath or shower where water spray might occasionally reach. Zone 3 is further from water sources. The fitting is not rated for zone 1 (directly above a bath or within a shower enclosure) or zone 0 (inside the bath or shower tray).
What bulbs does it take?
Each head takes a standard GU10 bulb up to 20W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose GU10 LED bulbs between 4-6W and 3000K-4000K for bathroom lighting, giving the equivalent of 35-50W halogen output with lower running costs.
Is it dimmable?
Dimmer compatibility depends on the GU10 bulb chosen. The fitting itself does not restrict dimming. If you plan to use a dimmer switch, choose GU10 LED bulbs marked as dimmable and check they are compatible with your specific dimmer model.
Can the heads be locked in position?
The heads have friction joints that hold their position once set, but they are not lockable. Adjusting the angle requires hand pressure, so they stay where you set them during normal use but can be moved if deliberately adjusted.
