Description

Three round wire baskets hung one below another from a single hook, the smallest at the top and the largest at the bottom. Each is built from closely spaced vertical wires held between a rim ring and a base, and three lengths of chain run down through all three tiers to carry them. The whole column drops 97cm from the hook, and the widest basket measures 30cm across.

It hangs rather than stands, so a 97cm column of storage takes up no worktop. Bread goes in the top basket and fruit in the two below. It will carry 10kg across the three tiers. The wires are open, so air moves through and what is in each basket stays visible from the side.

The baskets and the chain are iron under an aged brass finish, so the tone is a warm dark brown rather than a bright one, and it varies across each basket. The spacing between the wires is not identical all the way round. Inkollu comes as the three tiers and the hook together.
