Description

The Infinity II is a 430mm semi-flush ceiling light built around a polished chrome circular backplate with a mirrored finish, from which two continuous acrylic ribbons loop and twist in a cloverleaf pattern. An integrated 30W LED inside the acrylic elements emits 2250lm of warm 3000K light, diffused evenly along the flowing curves to create ambient illumination without exposed bulbs or fittings.

Designed for living rooms, open-plan dining areas and hallways with standard 2.4m ceiling heights, the 150mm projection keeps the fixture clear of head height while the mirrored underside reflects the acrylic curves back, doubling the visual impact and making the ceiling appear taller. The chrome and mirror finish works in contemporary interiors with glass, chrome fixtures and neutral colour schemes, and the sculptural form acts as a decorative focal point in rooms where a simple flush fitting would feel too plain.

The acrylic ribbons are opal white when unlit, turning softly luminous when switched on. The 120° beam angle distributes light radially across the ceiling plane rather than directly downward, reducing harsh shadows and creating a softer ambient wash. The polished chrome frame and mirrored backplate reflect both the room and the lit acrylic, amplifying the sense of movement in the design. Is this suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 150mm projection from ceiling to base of fitting makes it suitable for standard 2.4m ceiling heights. The semi-flush design sits closer to the ceiling than a pendant, keeping the acrylic clear of head height in typical residential rooms.

Is the LED dimmable?

No. The integrated 30W LED is non-dimmable and operates at fixed brightness on standard mains switching.

How is the mirrored effect created?

The circular backplate has a mirror finish applied to its underside. When the fitting is mounted flush to the ceiling, this mirrored surface reflects the acrylic ribbons and the room below, creating the illusion of doubled curves and additional depth.

What ceiling fixing is required?

At 3.9kg the fitting requires secure fixing. Mount directly into a ceiling joist where possible, or use appropriate cavity fixings rated for the weight if fixing into plasterboard. The fitting comes with a standard UK ceiling rose connection.
