Description

The Ikat Pleated Lamp Shade is a tapered empire shade wrapped in softly gathered fabric, with a hand-pleated finish that runs from the top ring down to the wider base. The ikat pattern gives a gentle blurred effect across the pleats, and once lit the shade throws a warm, diffused glow through the fabric.

We offer it in four colourways, from a soft Coral Pink and a deep Marlin Blue to a neutral Pearl Grey and a bright Yellow, so it works with painted walls or plainer schemes. There are six diameters, from 16cm up to 40cm, which makes it easy to match a small bedside lamp, a table lamp or a larger floor light. Pick a smaller size for a hallway or landing and a wider one for a living room or study.

The shade is built on a steel frame with the fabric pleated and stitched by hand around it, and a pale lining inside to soften the light. It has a fitting suited to standard table and floor lamp bases. To care for it, dust lightly with a soft brush or a low-suction vacuum and keep it away from damp.
