Description

The Ikat Coir Doormat brings a retro ogee pattern to your entrance, with interlocking teardrop shapes drawn in soft grey, warm neutrals and a bold accent colour. Made from natural coir with a latex backing, it has a dense, brushy pile that scrapes dirt and moisture from shoes before they reach the floor. The repeating design runs edge to edge, giving the mat a lively yet balanced look that works front door or back.

The range comes in two colourways, Ochre / Natural and Black / Natural, and two sizes, from 40cm x 70cm to 60cm x 90cm. The smaller mat suits a single doorway or porch, while the larger one covers double doors and busier entrances. The ochre option adds a warm, sunny note, while the black version keeps things quiet and understated against most door colours.

Each mat is woven from coir fibre, a hard-wearing natural material taken from coconut husk, then bonded to a latex base that helps it grip and stay put. Shake it out regularly and brush off loose dirt to keep the pile fresh. Coir is best kept under cover and away from prolonged wet, as natural fibres can shed a little at first and hold damp if left soaked.
