Description

The Ignitia is a pendant suspension kit comprising a 2m adjustable steel cable, a white ceiling rose, a cable grip assembly, mounting screw and wall plug. Manufactured by Ideal Lux, the kit provides the suspension hardware needed to hang a pendant light fitting where cable length adjustment or repositioning is required.

Designed for use with LED pendant lights and other lightweight suspended fittings, the steel cable threads through the ceiling rose and grips in place using the included cable grip mechanism. Adjusting the drop height involves loosening the grip, repositioning the cable to the desired length, then re-tightening. The 2m cable length allows drops from 200mm to nearly 2m depending on ceiling height and the position of the electrical supply.

The white ceiling rose measures 100mm diameter with a 55mm projection from the ceiling, providing a clean mount point that blends with white or light-coloured ceilings. The steel cable has a brushed nickel finish and a 1.5mm diameter, giving a slim profile that remains visible but unobtrusive below the pendant fitting. The kit suits residential installations over dining tables, kitchen islands and in bedrooms where the pendant height needs adjusting after initial fitting.
