The Ignis is a 15W LED track spotlight built for three-phase track systems, with a cylindrical black aluminium body measuring 75mm in diameter and 116mm in height. The integrated LED delivers 4000K cool white light with a CRI90 colour rendering index, making it suitable for retail, gallery and office environments where accurate colour perception matters. The spotlight head rotates 350° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically, allowing precise directional control once clipped onto the track adapter.

Designed for commercial and residential three-phase track installations, the Ignis suits spaces needing flexible accent or task lighting without fixed ceiling penetrations. Retail displays, art galleries, kitchen worktops and home office zones all benefit from the adjustability and focused beam. The three-phase track adapter clips directly onto compatible track rails (sold separately) and can be repositioned along the track run without re-wiring, making layout changes straightforward.

The extruded aluminium body is powder-coated in matt black, providing a low-profile finish that recedes visually in dark ceilings or contrasts cleanly against white track rails. The 4000K colour temperature falls in the neutral-to-cool white range, often preferred in commercial settings for its clarity and alertness compared to warmer residential whites. At 15W, the LED produces comparable light output to a traditional 50W halogen spotlight while drawing less power and generating less heat.

The IP20 rating limits the Ignis to dry indoor locations only. Is this compatible with single-phase track systems?

No. The Ignis is designed specifically for three-phase track systems. The track adapter fitting differs from single-phase (two-wire) track, so it will not physically connect to single-phase rails. Confirm your track system type before ordering.

What does CRI90 mean?

CRI (Colour Rendering Index) measures how accurately a light source renders colours compared to natural daylight. CRI90 means the LED renders 90% colour accuracy, which is high enough for retail displays, art galleries and commercial environments where true-to-life colour perception matters. Standard budget LEDs typically sit around CRI80.

Can the spotlight be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED driver is non-dimmable, so the light output is fixed at full brightness. To control light levels in a multi-spotlight installation, adjust the number of active spotlights rather than dimming individual units.

How is the spotlight positioned on the track?

The track adapter clips onto the three-phase rail and can be slid along the track to any position without tools. Once positioned, the spotlight body rotates 350° horizontally and tilts 90° vertically, allowing the beam to be aimed at the target surface or object.
