Description

The Ignis is a 15W LED track spotlight with an integrated LED module, CRI90 colour rendering and 4000K neutral white output, mounted in a white powder-coated extruded aluminium body. The spotlight head rotates 350° on its horizontal axis and tilts 90° vertically, allowing beam direction to be adjusted after installation without rewiring or moving the track position.

Designed for three-phase track systems in retail, gallery, showroom and workspace installations where accent lighting is needed on products, artworks or architectural features. The 4000K colour temperature provides daylight-equivalent clarity without the warmth of 3000K or the clinical tone of 5000K, making it useful for environments where colour accuracy matters. The CRI90 rating means the light renders colours with 90% accuracy relative to natural daylight, reducing colour shift on merchandise, paint samples or printed materials.

The compact 116mm height and 75mm diameter body suit standard 1m and 2m three-phase track systems, with the adapter clip fitting onto the track rail and locking into one of the three live phases. The white finish integrates cleanly into white or light-coloured ceilings and track rails, reducing visual weight compared to black or metallic finishes. The extruded aluminium construction acts as a passive heatsink for the LED module, dispersing heat without requiring active cooling or fan noise.

The integrated LED is non-replaceable and rated IP20 for indoor dry locations only. The spotlight is not dimmable on standard mains circuits, so brightness cannot be adjusted after installation without replacing the entire unit.

No. The integrated LED module is not compatible with standard dimmer switches. If dimming is required for your installation, contact us to discuss alternative track spotlight options with dimmable drivers.

What track system does it fit?

The Ignis fits standard three-phase track rails. The adapter clip locks into one of the three live phases on the track, allowing multiple spotlights to be distributed across phases for balanced electrical loading.

What does CRI90 mean in practice?

CRI (Colour Rendering Index) measures how accurately a light source renders colours compared to natural daylight. CRI90 means the LED renders colours with 90% accuracy, reducing colour shift on merchandise, artwork or printed materials compared to lower-CRI sources.

Can the LED module be replaced?

No. The LED is integrated into the spotlight body and is not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of operation, which equates to 8-10 years of typical commercial use before output degrades significantly.
