The Ibis is a 350mm diameter crystal chandelier wrapped in a red feather shade, built around a polished chrome frame with three E14 bulb positions. Cut crystal spheres hang beneath the feather layer on individual strands, catching and refracting light from the bulbs above. The feather shade itself sits as a textured outer shell around the frame, diffusing light outward through red plumage while the crystal droplets below provide sharp reflections and downward sparkle.

Designed for dining rooms, lounges and hallways where a bold accent is wanted without ceiling height constraints, the Ibis can be fitted as either a pendant (430-1930mm adjustable drop) or as a semi-flush ceiling fitting (430mm minimum drop). The 350mm diameter suits tables 1.2-1.6m wide and ceiling heights from 2.4m upward. The three E14 sockets accept candle-style bulbs up to 60W each (sold separately), with dimmer compatibility depending on the bulb chosen.

The red feather shade is applied by hand to a wire frame, so the density and orientation of individual feathers vary between production batches. The polished chrome canopy and suspension cables contrast the organic texture of the feathers, while the crystal spheres below add weight to the lower edge and prevent the feathers from obscuring all downward light. What bulbs does the Ibis take?

The chandelier uses three E14 (small Edison screw) bulbs up to 60W each. Candle-style or golf-ball shaped LED bulbs work best. Bulbs are sold separately. For warm ambient light, choose 2700K-3000K colour temperature.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch. The fixture itself supports dimming but requires dimmable E14 bulbs to function on a dimmer circuit.

How is the feather shade cleaned?

The feathers are delicate and cannot be washed or sprayed. Dust accumulation can be removed gently using a soft brush or the brush attachment on a vacuum cleaner held at low suction. Avoid touching the feathers with damp cloths.

Can it be fitted as a semi-flush ceiling light?

Yes. The minimum drop is 430mm, which allows the Ibis to be fitted close to the ceiling in rooms where a long pendant drop would hang too low. The suspension cables can be shortened during installation to achieve the desired height.
