Description

The Huguenot Lake is a 533mm three-light bathroom wall light built on a polished chrome bar with turned ball detailing at each end and a circular stepped wall plate. Three frosted seeded glass cone shades sit on hand-spun chrome fitters, each housing a 3W LED G9 bulb that produces warm 3000K light. The IP44 rating allows safe use in bathroom zones 2 and 3.

Designed for mounting above bathroom mirrors or vanity units, the fitting can be installed with shades pointing upward or downward depending on ceiling height and lighting preference. The 533mm width suits double-basin vanities in larger bathrooms and en-suites, while the 152mm projection from the wall keeps the glass shades clear of mirror surfaces when positioned above. The polished chrome finish resists bathroom humidity and pairs with chrome taps, towel rails and other bathroom hardware.

The seeded glass treatment inside each cone shade creates subtle texture variation when the bulbs are lit, breaking up the hard reflections from the chrome bar. The three included LED bulbs deliver a combined output at 3000K colour temperature, providing task lighting for grooming and shaving without the cooler blue cast of higher-temperature LEDs. The stepped circular wall plate conceals the electrical connection and provides structural support for the 533mm horizontal span.

Can this be used in bathroom zones 1 or 2?

The IP44 rating permits safe installation in bathroom zones 2 and 3, meaning outside the shower enclosure and at least 600mm from the edge of a bath or basin. It should not be installed directly above a bath or inside a shower cubicle (zone 1).

Can the shades be mounted pointing upward?

Yes. The fitting can be installed with the glass shades pointing upward or downward. Upward mounting produces indirect ceiling-reflected light, while downward mounting directs task light onto the vanity surface.

Are the LED bulbs replaceable?

Yes. The fitting uses standard G9 LED bulbs up to 3W. Three bulbs are included with the fitting. Replacement G9 LEDs at 3000K are widely available.
