Description

The Hosorne pendant light pairs a black steel dome shade with a ring of brown wood that circles it like a frame. The dome sits in the upper half of the ring and opens underneath, so the bulb hangs low within the circle and becomes part of the look. It is 23cm in diameter and 110cm tall overall, hung on a slim black cord from a round black ceiling canopy. It takes a single E27 bulb of up to 40W, and the bulb is not included. With an IP20 rating it is made for dry rooms indoors, which rules out bathrooms and the garden.

With a 23cm diameter, it suits a round dining table, a small kitchen table or a breakfast corner, giving a focused light over the spot where you eat, read or work. Hung in a pair or a row, it also covers a longer table neatly. The mix of black steel and warm wood sits comfortably in pared-back, rustic and modern rooms alike, and the open ring keeps it looking airy rather than heavy.
