Description

The Hosmane is a linear pendant light that pairs a long wooden beam with black steel, in a Black & Wood finish that brings warmth to a room. A black steel ceiling bar holds the beam on slim black suspension lines, and from the beam a row of black lampholders drops on cords looped around the timber, so the bulbs hang at staggered heights rather than in a flat row. It is 100cm long, 10cm wide and 110cm high overall. Each lampholder takes an E27 screw-cap bulb, and the IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms only.

Its length makes it a natural choice over a long dining table or a kitchen table, where it spreads light along the table instead of a bright spot in the middle. It also suits a kitchen island or a large desk, and the pairing of timber and black brings an easy, lived-in feel to farmhouse and industrial-style interiors. Because the bulbs are not included, you choose the final look yourself: clear globes that show their glow, or any other E27 shape you prefer. Keep it to dry rooms such as the dining room, kitchen or living room, and away from bathrooms and porches.

The body combines steel and wood, and the whole light weighs 2.68KG. There is no switch on the light itself, so it is turned on and off from your wall switch. As a wired-in ceiling light, it is installed by a qualified electrician, and the installation instructions come as a download. It runs on standard 220-240V, 50/60Hz mains power. When you buy bulbs, choose E27 screw-cap ones, since that is the cap each lampholder takes.
