Description

The Hosmane is a three light spotlight bar for the ceiling, pairing a brown wooden bar with three black spot heads. It is 48cm long, 5cm wide and 13.5cm high, so it sits neatly along a ceiling without hanging low into the room. Each head takes a standard E27 bulb of up to 60W, which leaves the choice of bulb with you: a clear filament bulb gives a vintage look, while a frosted one spreads the light more softly. Bulbs are not included. The IP20 rating settles where it belongs: indoors, in a dry room.

Each head can be angled, so one bar does the work of several lights. Over a dining table it lays light along the tabletop; in a kitchen it can pick out a worktop and a shelf at once; in a hallway or on a landing it lights the length of the space where a single pendant would leave the corners dim. The warm brown of the wood suits rooms with timber floors, oak furniture or a rustic, farmhouse feel, while the black heads add a crisp, modern edge.
