Description

Hoop Zoom Black M is a round wall mirror 85cm across in a powder coated black metal frame, with a magnifying section set into the face itself rather than added as a second mirror beside it. The magnification is twice life size and the section is 14cm across, sitting flush in the glass with a fine ring where it meets the main surface. The mirror turns on its suspension, so the magnifying section can be brought round to wherever it is wanted.

That suits a bathroom, where it is rated to go, or a dressing area, where a shaving or make-up mirror is usually a second fitting screwed to the wall beside the main one. Here it is the same piece turned round. The rotating suspension means the zoom can sit low for someone seated or high for someone standing, and it can be moved without touching the fixings. At 10kg and 3cm deep it is a one person lift, with two screws, washers and plugs supplied and nothing to assemble. The same mirror is made without the magnifying section, and with a bronze frame as well as this black one.

The mirror is mirrored glass with an integrated magnifying section in a powder coated black metal frame, which is a hard baked finish rather than a paint layer. Clean it with cleaner sprayed onto a soft cloth. The magnifying section is placed off centre rather than in the middle, which is what makes the rotation useful: turning the mirror changes the height of the zoom without moving the fixings. Seven year warranty, made in Belgium.
