Hoop Bronze Round Wall Mirror 105cm

Hoop Bronze L is a round wall mirror 105cm across in a bronze metal frame drawn as a thin rim rather than a surround. There is very little else to it: a single circle of mirrored glass, a metal edge holding it, and 2cm of depth. At a metre across it is large enough to work on its own above a console or a basin, and plain enough to sit in a group without competing with what it is grouped with.

It suits a hallway, a living room or a bathroom, where it is rated to go. It hangs on two hooks with wall plugs rather than screws, which makes it quicker to level than a fixed screw pattern, and it hangs in one direction. At 12kg and 2cm deep it is a one person lift that sits close to the wall, with nothing to assemble. Give it a wall colour you have chosen, because a rim this thin takes its character from what surrounds it far more than a heavy frame would. The same design is made in an 85cm size, with a black frame as an alternative to the bronze, and with a magnifying section set into the face.

The mirror is mirrored glass in a bronze metal frame. Clean it with cleaner sprayed onto a soft cloth rather than onto the glass, and dry the rim rather than leaving water standing on it. The rim is deep enough to read as a drawn line from across a room and shallow enough to disappear at arm's length, which is the whole of the design. Seven year warranty, made in Belgium.
