Description

The Hirbessa is a square outdoor wall light: a slim black steel frame holding clear glass panels, with two lamp holders inside, set one above the other and pointing in opposite directions. It is 29cm wide and 29cm high and stands 13cm out from the wall, so it sits neat and close beside a door without crowding a narrow path. Each holder takes an E27 bulb of up to 28W, and the bulbs are not included, which leaves the choice of lamp entirely yours. Its IP44 rating settles where it can go: it is protected from splashing water, so it lives outdoors on a house wall.

Fit it beside a front door, on the back wall over a patio, or either side of a garage door, where the light falls on the step and the keyhole. Because the glass is clear, the bulb becomes part of the look: a pair of filament lamps gives a warm lantern glow after dark, while the black frame stays crisp against brick, render or painted walls by day. With IP44 it also suits a bathroom, and a qualified electrician will confirm the right zone.
