Description

The Hilow pendant light is an open frame of straight LED bars: three long horizontal bars crossed by three angled bars, each carrying a slim linear diffuser along its length. It measures 113cm wide and 82cm high, and it hangs on a drop of up to 500cm, so it can hang low over a table even under a high ceiling. The light source is integrated LED, so there is no bulb to buy or change. At 80W it gives 5045lm, a generous output, and a CRI of 90 keeps food, wood and fabric looking true to colour. We offer it in White, Brushed Champagne, Matt Black, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Brass or Brushed Titanium, and in 2700K or 3000K.

Its width and output make it a natural choice over a long dining table, where one fitting lights the full length, or in a living room with the space to let its lines read clearly. Choose 2700K for a warmer, softer evening light, or 3000K for a slightly crisper white. It dims by DALI or push control, so it can join a DALI lighting system or run from a push switch, and you can bring it down for supper and up again when the table becomes a desk. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only.

The frame is built from straight bars joined where they cross, which gives it an open, layered look from every angle. The finishes run from a clean White and a deep Matt Black to its brushed finishes, so it suits a pale scheme as readily as a darker one. The driver sits in its own housing, 35.5cm tall and 5.5cm across. It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in by a qualified electrician. Once it is hung, the only thing left to choose is how bright you want it. Our photographs show the white version.
