Description

The Hilow is an LED ceiling light made of long, crossing linear bars in a brushed brass finish, each with a black diffuser frame running along its length. Long bars run side by side and shorter angled bars cross them, so the light sits on the ceiling as a loose, architectural grid. It measures 113cm wide and 82cm high, with a 32cm canopy. The light source is integrated LED, so there is never a bulb to buy or change. It draws 72W or 78W depending on the version, giving 2356lm or 2651lm, and with a CRI of 90 colours and skin tones look natural beneath it. It comes in 2700K, a warm white, or 3000K, a slightly crisper white.

This is a light for a generous ceiling: above a long dining table, across an open-plan living room, along a broad hallway or in a study where you want plenty of even light from one fitting. Its width suits rooms where a small fitting would look lost. It is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms indoors only. It runs on 230V mains power and is wired in to the mains by a qualified electrician. You choose between two versions. The DALI or push dimmable version dims through DALI control or push dimming. The 24V DC version needs a remote 24V DC driver, sold separately, which turns the mains supply into the low voltage the light runs on.

Each bar carries its black diffuser along the full length, softening the LED and edging the brushed brass with a crisp dark line, so the fitting draws a clean, graphic outline against a pale ceiling. The bars sit close to the ceiling on a slim plate. Before you order, choose your colour temperature and your version, and if you pick the 24V DC version, agree with your electrician where its driver will go.
