Description
This resin figurine captures a moment of pure panic: a boy with wide blue eyes, his mouth open in a full scream and both hands pressed flat to his cheeks. His golden yellow hair falls in a side fringe, and he wears a chunky red jumper with a raised knit texture across the chest and sleeves, so the whole piece reads in bright red and yellow from across the room. It is a small bust, 4cm high, 3cm wide and 5.5cm deep, made from polyresin, with a little ring at the crown carrying a red loop ready for hanging.
Its natural home is the Christmas tree, where it hangs among the baubles and lights and its comic face is the one everyone spots first. It is just as happy on a small tabletop tree, looped over a cupboard knob, tied to a mantelpiece garland or hung from a peg on the back of a door. We think it makes a cheerful little Christmas gift too: small enough to tuck into a stocking or tie onto a wrapped present, and the sort of decoration that raises a laugh every year the boxes come down from the loft.
The figure is made from polyresin, with the hair, fingers and knit of the jumper all raised in relief, and it is painted in red, yellow, blue and warm skin tones for a cartoon-style finish. Like any painted resin piece it can chip if dropped on a hard floor, so hang it from a firm branch. To care for it, dust it with a soft dry cloth and keep it dry; when the tree comes down, wrap it in tissue and store it in a box so the paintwork stays bright for next December. Hang it at eye level near the front of the tree, among plain red and gold baubles that let its colours lead.

Frequently Asked
How big is this figurine?
It measures 4cm high, 3cm wide and 5.5cm deep, so it is a small piece that tucks easily between the baubles and lights on a tree.
What is the figurine made of?
It is made from polyresin. The hair, the fingers and the knit of the jumper are all raised in the resin, which gives it a lively three-dimensional finish.
How does it hang?
A small ring at the top of the head carries a red hanging loop. You can slip it straight over a tree branch, a cupboard knob or a garland.
What colours is it?
The jumper is a bright red and the hair a golden yellow. The eyes are blue, and the face and hands are painted in warm skin tones.
How should I look after it?
Dust it gently with a soft dry cloth and keep it dry. When you pack the decorations away, wrap it in tissue so the paintwork stays bright for next year.
Does it make a good Christmas gift?
Yes. It is a fun little Christmas gift that fits in a stocking or ties onto a wrapped present, and it raises a smile every year the tree goes up.
