Hayes Linear Ceiling Rose 70cm Long - White

A slim white bar with three openings spaced along its length, made for gathering a row of pendants into one line. At 70cm long, it gives each drop room to breathe while still reading as one fitting overhead. The profile is shallow, so the plate stays quiet and the flexes and shades do the talking. It is non-electrical and holds no lamp of its own; the light comes from whichever pendants you run through it. Nothing about it competes with the fittings it carries.

We use plates like this when someone wants three shades in a row over a kitchen island or a long dining table, rather than a single light in the middle. It works just as well above a run of worktop, along a hallway, or over a desk where a line of small glass shades gives better spread than one broad shade. The plate belongs indoors, in dry rooms, and it suits anyone building up a pendant arrangement from parts rather than buying a ready-made multi-light fitting.

The face is finished in a clean white that settles against a painted ceiling without drawing attention. Dust it with a dry cloth when you dust the shades; if fingermarks show, a barely damp cloth and a dry wipe afterwards will clear them, and polishes and solvents are best kept away. It carries a one year warranty. Does it include cable grips or cord grips?

No, those are bought separately. We stock the matching metal cable grip kits in three-piece packs and the compression cord grips in five-piece packs, in a choice of finishes.

Is it suitable for a bathroom or a covered porch?

No. It is rated IP20, so it is intended for dry indoor rooms such as kitchens, dining rooms and hallways.

Is this an electrical item?

It is a non-electric accessory with no lamp holder, so any lamp choice follows the pendants you use with it.

How many pendants can it take?

There are three openings along the length, so it is set up for three drops.

How should I clean it?

A dry cloth for dust is usually enough. For marks, wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry it straight after, avoiding abrasive creams and solvent cleaners.
