Description

The Hawthorne is a 400mm square flush ceiling light with a polished chrome frame, square-cut crystal perimeter surround, and an opal glass diffuser panel. An integrated 30W LED module inside the fitting emits 1450 lumens at 4000K, producing a cool white light that the opal glass softens and spreads evenly across the room below.

Designed for rooms with standard or lower ceiling heights where a pendant would hang too low, the Hawthorne's 165mm projection from ceiling to base fits comfortably in hallways, bedrooms, home offices, and dining rooms with ceilings between 2.2m and 2.6m. The flush format means no bulb is visible from below, only the diffused glow through the opal panel and the refracted light caught in the crystal border. The 400mm footprint provides enough spread for rooms up to 4m x 4m where the fitting acts as the primary light source.

The crystal surround consists of individual square-cut pieces set into a chrome grid that runs around all four edges of the fitting. When the LED is on, light refracts through the crystal border, casting small prismatic reflections onto the ceiling and walls. The polished chrome frame reflects ambient light during the day and adds a metallic accent without dominating the room. At 5kg, the fitting requires secure fixing into a ceiling joist or cross-batten rather than plasterboard alone.
