Description

The Harsha is a dining chair upholstered in aged tan buffalo leather over an iron frame. The back is stitched vertically into narrow ribs and the leather is stitched by hand throughout. It stands 85cm to the top of the back, 45cm across and 53cm deep.

The seat sits at 50cm from the floor and measures 45 x 41cm. The chair is 45cm wide overall, the same as the seat itself, so a row of them along a table takes up no more room than the seats do. It will take up to 100kg, and at 10kg it is light enough to move between a dining table and a desk, which is what it is built for.

The leather is buffalo, chosen for its strength, and it takes on a patina as the chair is used, so the tan deepens and marks where hands and sleeves pass over it. The frame is iron. The Harsha dining chair is also made in chocolate brown and in rich green, and the range holds a counter stool in the same aged tan leather.

Keep the chair out of direct sunlight and away from heat, and never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
