Harper Small LED Crystal Flush Ceiling Light 4000K 6W - Polished Chrome

The Harper Small is a 200mm flush ceiling light with cascading strands of crystal buttons inside a clear glass dome, set into a polished chrome rim. An integrated 6W LED behind the crystal delivers 500 lumens at 4000K cool white, casting bright ambient light through the glass and crystal layers without the depth projection of a traditional pendant or semi-flush.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights below 2.4m where a pendant would hang too low, the Harper suits hallways, small bedrooms, bathrooms (subject to IP rating confirmation), cloakrooms and landing areas needing overhead illumination with a decorative element. The 140mm height from ceiling to underside keeps the fitting compact enough for doorway clearance while the 200mm diameter provides adequate spread for spaces up to 8-10m².

The polished chrome finish on the outer rim reflects both natural daylight and artificial light, amplifying the crystal's refractive effect during the day and creating small points of sparkle when the LED is on. The crystal strands are suspended inside the glass dome rather than exposed, which means they stay cleaner longer and are protected from accidental contact. The 4000K colour temperature produces a neutral white light closer to daylight than warm LEDs, making it suitable for task-adjacent spaces like hallways and bathrooms where colour accuracy matters.

Is the Harper dimmable?

No. The integrated 6W LED is not compatible with dimmer switches. It operates at full 500lm output when switched on.

What ceiling height is needed?

The Harper projects 140mm from the ceiling surface, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.1m and above. It is specifically designed as a low-ceiling solution where semi-flush or pendant fittings would hang too low.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

The specification table does not list an IP rating. For bathroom use, confirm with us whether the fitting carries IP44 or higher certification for zones 2-3 before installation.

How is the crystal cleaned?

The crystal strands are enclosed within the glass dome. To clean, switch off at the mains, allow the fitting to cool, then wipe the outer glass with a slightly damp microfibre cloth. The enclosed design means the crystal itself requires less frequent cleaning than exposed crystal fittings.
