Description

This is not a light in itself but the piece that finishes one off: a white side cover for the Hanok linear range, supplied with its fixing wire. The body measures 67mm high and it weighs almost nothing in the hand. Nothing about it is electrical, so there is no lamp, no driver and no flex to think about. Its job is to close the side of a Hanok run so the whole line reads as a single clean form.

We reach for it when a linear run is seen from more than one angle: suspended over a kitchen island, down the middle of a long dining table, or in a studio or meeting room where the fitting sits at eye level from the doorway. It suits anyone building a Hanok scheme from several fittings and wanting each end to look considered rather than cut off. It belongs in dry indoor rooms only, so kitchens and offices yes, shower rooms and open porches no.

The finish is a flat white that sits quietly against a white ceiling and takes shadow well. White does show dust sooner than darker finishes, so an occasional pass with a dry lint free cloth is all it asks; leave solvents, polishes and cream cleaners out of it, as they can dull the surface. It carries a one year warranty. In the wider range we stock 1.2m linear pendants and linear ceiling lights in black and white, with sand brown on one of the pendants, so the cover can be specified alongside whichever finish you have chosen. Ordered on its own, it arrives without a fitting.
