Description

Think of this as the working part of the Hanok linear system: a slender white bar, 1.2m long, carrying an integrated LED that draws 38W and gives a warm white light in a narrow, concentrated spread. The driver is supplied with it, so there is nothing further to source, and modules link end to end where one length will not cover the run. Output is fixed rather than dimmable, which keeps the brightness steady and even from one end of the bar to the other.

We reach for modules like this over kitchen islands, long worktops and dining tables, and in home offices and workshops where a single line of light does more good than a scatter of downlights. The tighter spread keeps light on the surface below instead of washing across the walls, which is what you want above a run of cabinetry or a bench. Since there is no dimming, we would give it its own switch and keep a softer, lower layer elsewhere in the room for the evening. Dry indoor rooms only: kitchens, halls and studies are its territory, not shower zones or anywhere open to the weather.

The bar is plain and narrow, in a white finish chosen to stay quiet so the light reads as a line rather than as an object in the room. Dust settles along the upper face over time, so switch the circuit off, let it cool, then run a dry microfibre cloth the length of it and keep polishes and sprays well away from the lens. It carries a three year warranty. If you want the same light in a finished fitting rather than a module, the Hanok range runs to linear pendants and linear ceiling lights in black or white, a pendant in sand brown, and a shorter ceiling light for smaller rooms.
