This hand painted metal hummingbird decoration captures the little bird hovering, wings lifted high and tail fanned out beneath it. Its body and wings are painted in a rainbow of blue, red, orange, yellow, green and pink, the colours running into one another like marbled ink under a glossy finish that gives them real depth. Along each painted wing runs a fringe of twisted silver metal feathers, every strip turned so it catches the light, and the same bright silver sweeps down the throat to a long, fine beak.
