The Gunning is a semi flush ceiling light with two glass globes, one at each end of a slim horizontal brass bar. The bar sits on a short stem from a round ceiling plate, so the light stays close to the ceiling while spreading across the room. It measures 71cm long, 15cm tall and 12cm deep. Made of brass and glass, it comes in Satin Brass, Antique Brass, Antique Silver, Matt Black or Polished Brass, with globes in Opal, Clear or Frosted glass. The Matt Black finish is RAL 9005. Choose the metal and the glass to suit your scheme.

Rated IP44, it suits a bathroom as well as the rest of the house, from a hallway or landing to a bedroom or living room. Because it sits close to the ceiling it is a good choice where headroom is limited, and at 71cm long it spans a bathroom vanity, a kitchen table or a long corridor. The glass shapes the light: Opal and Frosted globes soften the bulbs into an even glow, while Clear globes leave the bulbs on view for a lighter, more open look. The warm brass finishes sit easily with wood and stone, while Antique Silver and Matt Black suit a cooler scheme.

Each light is made to order for you in Ireland, in brass with glass globes. Bulbs are sold separately: it takes two G9 bulbs, up to 6.5W per bulb (LED). It is wired in to the mains, so it is for a qualified electrician to install. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase, and bulbs are not covered.
