Description

This square recessed downlight, part of the Glozo range, is a fixed-position ceiling fitting that accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp. The bulb is not included, which lets you choose the wattage, output and tone that suit the room. The neat 88 by 88 mm white face sits flush once installed, giving a clean square trim against the ceiling.

It is built for indoor use, suited to hallways, landings, kitchens and living spaces where a discreet recessed fitting is wanted. The fitting drops into a 75 mm cut-out, so check there is enough void depth above the ceiling to clear the 48 mm body before you cut. Spaced across a ceiling, several of these give an even, low-profile layout without protruding hardware.

The housing is made from aluminium alloy in a white finish, with spring clips that grip the plasterboard once pushed up into the cut-out. Adjustment is fixed, so the lamp aims straight down. It carries an IP20 rating, meaning it is for dry indoor rooms only and should be kept away from bathrooms or any exposed location. It takes a GU10 lamp up to 10W.

No, the fitting is supplied without a lamp. It accepts a single GU10 twist-lock bulb, which you buy separately so you can pick the wattage and tone you prefer.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?
