Description

This square recessed downlight, from the Glozo range, is a fixed-position ceiling fitting that takes a single GU10 twist-lock lamp. The bulb is not included, so you can pair it with the GU10 of your choice. Measuring 88 by 88 mm with a 48 mm depth, the housing sits neatly into the ceiling, leaving a flush square trim on show in a two-tone gold and black finish.

It recesses into a standard 75 mm cut-out, dropping into the ceiling void so only the trim is visible from below. The position is fixed rather than tiltable, so it points straight down, which suits even runs of general and accent lighting across kitchens, hallways and living spaces. As an IP20 fitting it is for dry indoor use only, so keep it clear of bathroom zones and any exposed outdoor positions.

The housing is made from aluminium alloy for steady heat handling, finished in gold and black. It accepts a GU10 lamp rated up to 10W, with the GU10 holder wired in behind the trim. Whether the light dims depends entirely on the bulb and dimmer you choose, since dimming is a function of the lamp rather than the fitting. The square form gives a crisp, geometric look against a flat ceiling.
