Description

This recessed downlight is a fixed, square ceiling fitting that takes a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which is supplied separately and not included. It drops neatly into a 75mm ceiling cut-out for a flush, low-profile finish, with the GU10 sitting in a fixed position behind a clean square trim. With a compact footprint of 88 x 88 x 48 mm, the housing suits both new ceilings and retrofit work where a tidy square aperture is wanted.

The fitting is rated IP20, so it is for dry indoor ceilings only and should be kept clear of bathrooms, porches and any exposed location. It works well across hallways, landings, kitchens, living rooms and offices, set out in a grid or a run to give general or accent light once a GU10 lamp is fitted. The square trim sits within the Glozo range of recessed downlights, making it straightforward to keep a consistent look across a room or scheme.

Built from aluminium alloy in a black finish, the body offers good heat dissipation and a durable trim around the aperture. It accepts a GU10 lamp up to a maximum of 10W in a fixed, non-tilting orientation, with the spring clips holding it firm against the ceiling face once pushed up through the cut-out. The lamp is purchased separately, and dimming will depend on the bulb you choose.
