Description

This square recessed downlight, from the Glozo range, accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which is supplied separately. The bulb is not included, so the lamp tone, output and beam are set entirely by the GU10 you choose. The housing holds a fixed, non-adjustable position once installed, giving a clean, downward wash from a low-profile square trim that sits flush with the ceiling.

It drops into a 75mm cut-out in a plasterboard or panelled ceiling, with an overall trim of 88 by 88 mm and a recess depth of 48 mm, so it suits ceilings with adequate void clearance above. The square form lends itself to kitchens, hallways, landings and living spaces where a crisp geometric trim is wanted, and several units line up neatly to build an even grid. Rated IP20, it is intended for dry interior locations only and should be kept clear of bathroom zones and any exposed outdoor position.

The body is aluminium alloy in a two-tone gold and white finish, pairing a white outer trim with a gold inner reflector for a warm framed look. It takes a GU10 lamp up to 10W maximum, so check the bulb rating before fitting. Whether the light dims depends on the GU10 lamp fitted rather than the housing itself. Fixing is by sprung retaining clips that grip the ceiling material around the cut-out for a secure, tool-free hold.
