Description

This recessed downlight takes a single GU10 twist-lock lamp and drops into a ceiling cut-out for a clean, flush finish. The bulb is supplied separately, so the lamp itself is your choice; this listing is for the fitting only. The position is fixed, giving a straight downward throw, and the shallow Ø90 x 25 mm body suits ceilings with limited void depth above the plasterboard.

Designed for dry indoor rooms, it works well in kitchens, hallways, living rooms and bedrooms where neat recessed spots are wanted across a ceiling. The IP20 rating means it should be kept clear of bathroom wet zones and any outdoor or exposed location. Fixed-aim placement makes it a tidy choice for evenly spaced general lighting rather than directional accenting.

The fitting drops into a 77 mm cut-out and is held by sprung clips against the ceiling face, so no visible fixings are needed. It accepts GU10 lamps up to 10W maximum, and whether the installed light can be dimmed depends entirely on the bulb you fit. The housing is made from aluminium alloy in a black finish, part of the Glozo range, with the lamp ordered separately.

No. This is the fitting only and it is supplied without a lamp. It accepts a single GU10 twist-lock bulb, which you buy separately to suit the brightness and tone you want.

What size cut-out does it need?

Cut a 77 mm hole in the ceiling and the downlight drops in, held by its sprung clips. The body measures Ø90 x 25 mm overall, so check you have a little clearance above the plasterboard.

Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only, so keep it out of bathroom wet zones and away from any outdoor or exposed position. For damp or outdoor areas choose a higher IP-rated fitting.

What is the maximum lamp wattage?

It is designed for a GU10 lamp of up to 10W maximum. Stay within that limit when choosing your bulb, as LED GU10 lamps comfortably sit well under it.
