Description
This Talu recessed downlight is a square aluminium-alloy housing that drops into a 60mm ceiling cut-out and sits flush with the ceiling face. It accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which is supplied separately, so the brightness, colour and beam are set by whichever GU10 bulb you choose. The fitting holds a fixed position rather than tilting, giving a neat, level square aperture across a run of multiple points.
Rated IP44, it is splash-protected and suits both general rooms and sheltered damp areas such as a bathroom ceiling away from direct water, a kitchen, an entrance porch or a covered outdoor soffit. The compact 84 by 84 mm trim with a 30 mm recess depth keeps it discreet in lower ceilings, and the square form lines up cleanly in grids where a row of even, geometric apertures is wanted. Plan the spacing of several fittings around the room for steady, balanced coverage.
The body is aluminium alloy in a black finish, with a maximum lamp wattage of 10W so it pairs with standard low-wattage GU10 LED lamps. The bulb is not included, leaving you free to match the output and tone to the space. Installation is by spring clips into the ceiling cut-out, and the fixed-position design means no adjustment once seated.

Frequently Asked
Is a bulb included with this downlight?
No, the fitting is supplied without a lamp. It accepts a single GU10 twist-lock bulb, which you choose and buy separately to suit the brightness and tone you want.
What size ceiling cut-out does it need?
It fits a 60mm cut-out and recesses to a depth of 30mm. The square trim measures 84 by 84 mm, so check you have at least that clearance and depth above the ceiling line.
Can it be used in a bathroom or outdoors?
It carries an IP44 rating, so it is protected against splashes and suits sheltered damp areas such as a bathroom ceiling clear of direct water, or a covered porch or soffit. It is not rated for fully exposed positions or direct water jets.
Does the fitting tilt or adjust?
No, this is a fixed-position downlight, so the aperture points straight down once seated. For an aimable beam you would need an adjustable spotlight fitting instead.
