Description

This recessed downlight is a ceiling fitting from the Glozo range that accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, supplied without a bulb so you can choose the brightness and tone to suit the room. The square trim measures 92 by 92 mm with a slim 25 mm depth, and the fitting holds the lamp in a fixed forward-facing position rather than tilting. It takes a GU10 lamp rated up to 10W, which twists in and out for quick changes.

Built to drop into a 77mm ceiling cut-out, it sits flush against the ceiling face for a tidy, recessed finish that works well across kitchens, hallways and living rooms. The square aperture suits grid-style and geometric ceiling layouts, and several can be spaced in a run for even general lighting. With an IP20 rating it is rated for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it clear of bathroom zones and any exposed or damp positions.

The housing is aluminium alloy with a clean white finish that blends into a painted ceiling. The fixed, square trim gives a neat recessed line once seated in the cut-out, and the GU10 holder keeps lamp replacement straightforward without tools. Remember the bulb is not included, and whether the fitting can be dimmed will depend on the GU10 lamp you fit.
