Description

This square recessed downlight takes a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which is not included so you can pick the wattage and tone to suit the room. The fitting holds the lamp in a fixed position, sitting flush in the ceiling for a neat, low-profile finish. It is part of the Glozo range and measures a compact 88 × 88 × 48 mm overall.

The square trim suits hallways, kitchens, living rooms and bedrooms where a tidy, geometric ceiling line is wanted. Several fittings can be spaced in a run to spread light evenly across a space, with the chosen GU10 lamp setting the brightness and beam. As an IP20 fitting it is for dry interior use only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any spot exposed to splashes.

The housing is aluminium alloy in a two-tone silver and black finish. It is a recessed type that drops into a 75mm ceiling cut-out, with a maximum lamp rating of 10W per GU10. The fixed head points straight down and the spring clips hold it firmly against the ceiling once pushed home.

No, the downlight is supplied without a lamp. It accepts one GU10 twist-lock bulb, which you buy separately so you can choose the wattage and white tone you prefer.

What size cut-out do I need?

The fitting drops into a 75mm cut-out in the ceiling. The square outer trim measures 88 × 88 mm, so allow a little clearance around the hole when planning your spacing.

Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. It is rated IP20, which means dry indoor use only. Keep it out of bathrooms, porches and anywhere it could be splashed or exposed to moisture.

What is the maximum lamp wattage?

Each fitting takes one GU10 lamp up to 10W. Choose an LED GU10 within that limit; dimming will depend on the bulb you fit rather than the housing itself.
