Description

This is a recessed downlight fitting from the Glozo range, supplied as a housing only without a bulb. It accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp rated up to 10W, which you choose separately to suit the brightness and tone you want. The square trim measures 88 by 88 mm and holds the lamp in a fixed position, so the light points straight down rather than tilting.

The square format drops into a 75mm ceiling cut-out and sits flush against the ceiling face, giving a tidy finish suited to kitchens, hallways, living rooms and offices. With an IP20 rating it is built for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it out of bathrooms, porches and any location exposed to moisture. The fixed downward aim makes it a sensible choice for even, repeated spacing across a ceiling.

The body is aluminium alloy, which helps draw heat away from the GU10 lamp during use. It is offered in a black or white finish to match either a dark or a neutral ceiling. The fitting is just 48 mm deep, so it suits ceilings with limited void space above. Remember that the bulb is not included, and any dimming will depend on the GU10 lamp you fit rather than the housing itself.
