Description

This is a fixed recessed downlight that accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, supplied without a bulb so you can pair it with the GU10 output you prefer. The compact round body measures Ø90 mm with a slim 25 mm depth, and it drops cleanly into a standard 77 mm ceiling cut-out for a tidy flush finish. The position is fixed rather than tilting, giving a straight downward wash of light from whichever GU10 you fit.

The shallow depth makes it a practical choice where ceiling void space is limited, and the neat round trim suits kitchens, hallways, living rooms and bedrooms laid out in regular runs. Rated IP20, it is intended for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it clear of bathroom zones and any outdoor or damp location. Spacing several across a ceiling on the same circuit gives even general lighting once your chosen lamps are in place.

The fitting is built from aluminium alloy for a solid feel and good heat handling around the GU10 lamp. It takes a lamp up to 10W maximum and installs by squeezing the spring clips and pushing the housing up into the 77 mm aperture, where the clips hold it firm against the ceiling. The Glozo range offers it in a clean white or a black finish to match your ceiling or fittings.

No, the downlight is supplied without a bulb. It accepts a separate GU10 twist-lock lamp of your choice, up to 10W maximum.

What size cut-out do I need?

It needs a 77 mm cut-out in the ceiling. The spring clips grip the edges of the aperture to hold the fitting flush against the ceiling face.

Can I use this in a bathroom or outdoors?

No. With an IP20 rating it is suitable for dry indoor rooms only, so keep it clear of bathroom zones, sheltered porches and any outdoor location.

Can the head be angled?

No, this is a fixed-position downlight that directs light straight down. If you need to aim the beam, choose an adjustable spotlight version instead.
