Description
This recessed downlight is a fixed round fitting that drops into a 77mm ceiling cut-out, sitting flush against the ceiling face for a tidy, low-profile finish. It accepts a single GU10 twist-lock lamp, which twists in and locks with a quarter turn, so the bulb is held securely without tools. The lamp is not included, which lets you pick the wattage, tone and beam that suit the room.
Measuring just Ø90 × 25mm overall, it suits standard plasterboard and suspended ceilings where space behind the surface is limited. It takes a GU10 lamp up to 10W, making it a sensible choice for general lighting across hallways, landings, kitchens and living spaces when several are spaced along a ceiling. With an IP20 rating it is intended for dry indoor positions only, so keep it clear of bathrooms, porches and any spot exposed to moisture.
The fitting is made from aluminium alloy in a white finish that blends into a painted ceiling, and the fixed position keeps the lamp pointing straight down. Installation uses the spring clips common to recessed downlights, which grip the edge of the cut-out and hold the body firmly in place. As the housing carries no integrated lamp, dimming and colour depend entirely on the GU10 bulb you fit.

Frequently Asked
Is a bulb included?
No, the fitting is supplied without a lamp. It is designed to take a separate GU10 twist-lock bulb, which you choose and buy to match the wattage and tone you want.
What size hole does it need?
It requires a 77mm cut-out in the ceiling. The fitting drops into this hole and is held by spring clips that grip the edge, sitting flush with the ceiling face.
Can I use it in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. With an IP20 rating it is for dry indoor locations only, so it should not be used in bathrooms, porches or any position exposed to moisture.
Can the fitting be angled or tilted?
No, this is a fixed-position downlight, so the lamp points straight down. If you need an adjustable beam, an adjustable spotlight fitting would be the better choice.
