Description

This recessed downlight is a fixed-position fitting for a GU10 twist-lock lamp, which is supplied separately and is not included. It sits in a round aluminium alloy housing finished in black, with a slim Ø89 mm front trim that drops neatly into the ceiling. The fitting itself produces no light; the GU10 bulb you choose sets the brightness, tone and beam spread, so the housing simply holds and frames it.

The downlight recesses into a 75mm cut-out, so it suits ceilings with enough void depth to take the lamp behind the trim. The black finish reads as a discreet detail across kitchens, hallways and living spaces, and several can be arranged in a run for even coverage. With an IP20 rating it is for dry indoor positions only, so keep it clear of bathrooms zones, porches and anywhere exposed to splashing or damp. Part of the Glozo range of recessed fittings.

The body is aluminium alloy in a black finish, rated to a maximum lamp wattage of 10W with a GU10 twist-lock holder. Fitting is straightforward into a 75mm cut-out, where spring clips hold it flush against the ceiling face once the lamp is twisted into place. The position is fixed rather than tiltable, giving a clean downward wash from each point. Whether the light dims depends entirely on the GU10 bulb you fit, not on the housing.
